The sky’s the limit when it comes to customizing a giant ride at Extreme Super Truck in Augusta, Georgia, USA.
Shop owner Chris, 53, has been creating super trucks for 13 years - built to his customers' exact specifications.
His giant creations are almost twice as tall as the standard pickup truck and about six feet longer.
Chris said: “We build to the customer’s request - they don’t buy what we build, we build what they want - it's hard to find that.
“The biggest truck we built was a six-door 4x4 F650 truck - it was 26ft long, 8.3ft wide and ten feet tall.
“Customers can have anything they want, but they can only get this truck from one guy in the world and it feels cool to be able to build it for them.”
Chris works on up to 10 trucks at his shop at any given time and it can take a two man crew up to 50 weeks of non-stop work to complete a signature truck.
Chris said: “I have a consultation with every customer and figure out what they like.
“We start off with a standard cabin, which is a four-door cab and the customer decides what model, interior preference, and colour they want and we’ll price out the job.
“From there we start work on the chassis roll axels, new drive shafts, sub frame assemblies, beds, excursion clips, extra sets of doors, custom paint, interior, fuel tanks, entertainment, electronics and give someone the key.
“We’ve got no springs on our trucks - we install a Kelderman air system. They have full air ride suspensions in the front and rear.
“All these trucks can pull 25,000 pounds and they get 13 miles to the gallon - they’ll also do 100mph in a heartbeat.”
People around the world go to Chris to design their dream cars, which cost anywhere between $90,000 and $250,000.
He said: “We’ve had rappers, kings, movie stars - we get anyone who basically wants to pull something big with their truck or who wants a big toy.”
Chris has customised over 900 trucks to date.
He said: “People can only get this truck from one guy in the world - and it feels cool to be able to build that for them, knowing it’s such a quality project.”
